Commerce ATS Engineer
The WebSphere Commerce Advanced Technical Services (ATS) department provides remote and onsite advanced technical support to our global customers in the most complex and demanding environments, often focusing on performance/stability aspects of the product as customers develop and deploy their e-business solutions. The successful candidate will be effective in dealing with a wide range of customers including IT personnel and executives, IBM business partners, IGS resources and Lab Services team members. He/she will also be involved in billable services engagements requiring performance tuning customer s WebSphere Commerce environments including IHS, WAS, DB2 or Oracle. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Software Engineering ;Excellent verbal & written communication skills; Ability to work under pressure in critical customer situations; Ability to learn quickly and understand complex technological issues; Experience with automated load testing of web applications; Demonstrated expertise with database tuning (DB2 and/or Oracle) for OLTP; Demonstrated expertise with WAS Configuration & Performance Tuning; Demonstrated experience with Windows, AIX, Solaris, Linux, zLinux, iSeries; Understanding of Silk Performer or other load testing tools; Understanding of and experience with J2EE java based web applications.
