Communications Systems Engineer

Position:  Communications Systems Engineer

 

Overall Responsibilities:  Provide communications systems engineering support to include voice and data systems to the AOC Weapon System Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) in support of fielding AN/USQ-163 Falconers worldwide.

 

Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

?  Performs system/subsystem design and manages installations of systems for existing and proposed Air and Space Operations Center installations.

?  Works closely with other leads to manage multiple current and future projects, to include coordination with multiple program offices at geographically diverse locations.

?  Performs Joint Interoperability Coordination Cell and integration of ADSI, JRE, JSS, JTIDS/TADL, data systems and communication systems (including include voice radios and data radios, intercommunications and radio sharing subsystems) project planning, including requirements analysis, design, installation, training, testing, and sustainment.

?  Responsible for providing engineering plans for an integrated JIC Cell, intercommunications systems, radio remoting systems, UHF TACSAT  line-of-sight, and TADL radios and antennas based on in depth analyses of validated user requirements, documented system interfaces, and desired data flows.

?  Responsible for providing engineering plans for intercommunications systems, radio remoting systems, UHF TACSAT  line-of-sight, and TADL radios and antennas based on in depth analyses of validated user requirements, documented system interfaces, and desired data flows.

?  Interfaces with program offices, user reps, vendors, and other engineering disciplines.

?  Participates in special teams or forums to assess existing or developing new capabilities, strategies, or technical approaches to include spiral development/insertion of capabilities.
