Computer Operator I

Responsibilities:
? Assists with the operation of AS/400 system processing.
? Handles the physical security of the computer room and tape library.
? Maintains printers, tape drives and the supply of forms and storage media.
? Ensures that backups and restores are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
? Ensures that reports are printed and delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
? Maintains off-site storage with all tape media properly labeled.

Requirements:
? A high school diploma (or equivalent).
? 1-2 years of data processing experience (preferably in the AS/400 environment).
? Detail orientation.
? Self motivation.
? Good organizational skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
? A degree or certification in computer operations (from a technical school).

This position will work the graveyard shift - 11pm to 7:30am, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with the other two days be either Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday.
