Computer Room Supervisor Needed!!

Spherion is in partnership with one of the Nations leading Pharmaceutical Distributor?s. We are currently seeking a Computer Room Supervisor, for our client?s Methuen, Massachusetts (Boston) location.

Qualified candidates will be responsible for managing the operations of the computer center.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

 
Ensures the operation is in accordance with established procedures and practices.
Monitors performance of computer equipment.
Working knowledge of the operations of a computer center in a centralized environment.
Coordinates equipment installation and delivery schedules.
May recommend computer operation expansion based on current and projected activity.
Supervise 2 to 3 employees.

 

Requirements include:

 

?  4-year College Degree in Computer Science or related field.

?  2 to 3 years of Computer Center/Help Desk experience.

?  Must have Radio Frequency Technology experience. (RFID)

?  Experience working with Zebra Printers is strongly recommended.

?  Must have Windows based programs knowledge and experience.

?  Strong leadership and organizational skills.

?  Solid communication skills both verbal and written.

?  May have 24x7 on call responsibility and has responsibility for ensuring systems availability.
