Computer Software Trainer(contract)

We are currently looking for 2 computer software trainers to complete a 1-3 month project. Previous software training or teaching is strongly preferred. Under the direction of the Associate Director of Communications for Procurement, provide technical training support for the web-based application, SciQuest. This position requires the ability to deal effectively with internal clients, project management team, and trainees working toward the successful completion of the organizational goals and timelines. The ideal person is a self-starter who can work independently and quickly.

Provide computer training to University Community at all levels - Provide various delivery training formats including: general sessions, specialized training, refresher training and on-the job coaching - Assist in developing and maintaining curriculum - Demonstrate customer service, application marketing, project management and strong interpersonal skills - Support University Procurement training including: test, design, develop, deliver and evaluate SciQuest classroom training, oversee the user security access procedure, ensuring that access is granted prior to training, assist in pre & post department consultations and follow-through, and serve as a liaison between the user community and the SciQuest Project Management team. - Provide technical and functional training support to the University?s ITS Help Desk staff, and the internal Procurement Help Desk
