Our History



OAO Technology Solutions began as the Commercial Systems Group, a division of the former OAO Corporation. In 1996, the group spun off and later changed to its current name, OAO Technology Solutions, Inc. The company went public in 1997 and returned to a privately held corporation in 2004.



Also in 1997, OAOT acquired the MC400 information management system from UniHealth Investment Company and formed the OAOT subsidiary, OAO HealthCare Solutions, Inc.



Headquartered in Greenbelt, Maryland, OAOT employs more than 2500 employees and has offices in the United States, Canada, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
