Configuration Management Specialist

A client located at 1604 and Bulverde Rd has an immediate position available for a Configuration Management Specialist.

Responsiblilities:
The Configuration & Release Management Specialist is responsible for working with the development groups to manage the build and deployments of products and manage changes to the environments in which they are hosted. This person needs to be able to understand the intricacies of the software configuration, test, and release processes and be able to rapidly determine the source of problems and push to get issues resolved promptly. The ideal candidate is smart, creative, and passionate about software configuration and release management, and can work effectively with all members of the product team.

Requirements:
? Exp 1 yr supporting ClearCase and ClearQuest.
? At least 1 year of experience with one: ClearCase, StarTeam, CVS, PVCS, VSS, etc.
? At least 1 year of experience with one: ClearQuest, Bugzilla, etc.
? Experience with one or more scripting languages.
? Experience with both Unix and Windows operating systems.
? Working knowledge of major application development environments.
? Effective communication skills (written, oral, listening and presentation).
? Able to work well cross-functionally and in a fast paced environment.
? Exp in product builds.
? Exp in deployments to integration, QA, certification and production environments.
? Exp providing CM coverage for IT Change Requests
? Exp enforcing CM policies and procedures throughout product development, test and infrastructure organizations.
? Assoc. Degree(or working toward BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent studies.
