Configuration Management Specialist - Software

 

Responsibilities:

This person will conduct and participate in configuration audits, utilize Configuration Management (CM) tools to document results, establish baselines, track changes, and revise technical documentation.  Must be able to create software build controls, perform audits and create baselines for multiple software packages.  Develop cost estimates for software CM tasks.

 

Qualifications:

This applicant must have 3 plus years CM experience with a strong background in CM software methodology including ability to train others in CM procedures and processes (audits, change tracking, documentation updating).

Bachelor?s degree from an accredited engineering or technical school

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Must be US Citizen



Configuration Management Specialist - Hardware

 

Responsibilities:

This person will conduct and participate in configuration audits, utilize Configuration Management (CM) tools to document results, establish baselines, track changes, and revise technical documentation.  Must be able to analyze and understand hardware configurations, perform audits and create baselines for multiple hardware packages.  Ability to track, document, and baseline hardware from drawings, technical manuals, parts lists, and specifications is essential.

 

Qualifications:

This applicant must have 3 plus years CM experience with a strong background in CM methodology including ability to train others in CM procedures and processes (audits, change tracking, documentation updating).

Bachelor?s degree from an accredited engineering or technical school

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Must be US Citizen

 

 

Librarian, Configuration Management System

 

Responsibilities:

Must be able to receive, identify, catalog, store, retrieve, control, and maintain a library of technical documents including contract deliverables, engineering drawings, interface documents, software licenses, results from audits and configuration baseline documents.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor?s degree from an accredited engineering or technical school, preferably a degree in Library Science.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
