Provide a) PROJECT LEADERSHIP; and, b) FUNCTIONAL or TECHNO-FUNCTIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES in support of client-site, ERP application deployment projects to install Verticalsoft, Inc. vertical-ized versions of Microsoft Dynamics / Navision (Process 800, ChemPro 800, FreshPro 800) and other third party software granules.

Must be experienced in project work and in deployment of packaged ERP and Supply Chain applications. Preference will be given to direct experience with Navision or Verticalsoft applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES (E) Essential or (D) Dependent upon position

E 1. Consults with clients to analyze and understand business processes and subsequently completes the application configuration needed to apply Verticalsoft*s products.

E 2. Analyzes, defines, and documents system requirements for application configuration, master data setup and transactional dataflows in the context of a client*s specific business processes. Identifies re-engineering requirements or gaps in application functionality requiring custom application additions. Documents business process and custom application requirements.

E 3. Works with client*s IT staff to define hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, and other application server and infrastructure requirements.

E 4. Writes and maintains functional and technical specifications for custom application additions to be developed by a centralized group of Verticalsoft application developers.

E 5. Analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost, time, compatibility with other systems, and computer capabilities.

E 6. Develops and maintains plans outlining steps and time tables for developing, testing, and installing applications.

E 7. Monitors performance of programs after implementation. Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirm program meets specifications

E 8. Flexibly handles Additional Related Responsibilities as requested

D 1. Develops custom applications modifications or report changes. (Limited scope, as major development is done by a central development group.)

D 2. Develops Training Materials; and, trains end users or technical support staff in the use of the application or custom development / methods used to setup or maintain.



EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would meet job qualifications. Preference given to meeting minimum qualifications listed below:

1. Bachelor or graduate degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business, Accounting, Information Systems or other related field; and,

2. Minimum Two (2) years' experience in deployment or support of business (ERP) application systems; and/or design / development work with applications tied to ERP / MRP applications in manufacturing environments; and,

3. Prior experience as a consultant.

KNOWLEDGE

ERP Applications, Business Process Mapping, Supply Chain, IT Life Cycle for Analysis / Design / Build / Test / Document / Deploy, Project Management, Project Leadership, EDI, Microsoft Desktop Applications, Microsoft Applications Server and Networking Infrastructure, and Dynamics Navision.

SKILLS

Works independently, Proficient in MS Office Applications (especially Word and Excel), Navision or other ERP Application Knowledge, good communications skills, works well in a team environment, enjoys working with client team(s), and capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/CONDITIONS/REQUIREMENTS

General office environment.
Willing to travel regionally; 50%-70% travel, with periods peaking at 80%-90% for start-up periods.
