Content Services Program Manager

Job Summary

As a member of IT Content Services, the Content Services E-business Program Manager collaborates globally on design, development and implementation of Content Services strategy and is directly responsible for driving enabling technologies that drive simplification of system landscapes and exploit global capabilities.

The incumbent will be responsible for managing capital and expense budgets, requiring prior experience in planning, budgeting, and funded project execution. The incumbent will have at least a 1 million dollar budgetary responsibility.

Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for managing a minimum of two direct reports as well as a team of consultants. This position will also require 15-20% global travel.

Technically, the incumbent will be able to translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical designs, work with object-oriented concepts and meta data taxonomies as well as providing guidance on how to appropriately implement application components with a focus on e-Business, Sales Force Automation, Call Center Productivity, CRM, etc.

Required skills and/ or experience:
? EMC Documentum knowledge
? Technical strategy development
? 3-5 years global program and project management in one more areas such as Digital Assets, Web Content, CRM or Sales Force Automation
? Managing, developing and motivating direct reports
? Minimum 10 years of relevant IT work experience

Preferred skills and/ or experience:
? Proven success working effectively in a matrix environment
? Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies
? Experience in the Life Sciences industry

Educational requirements:
? Minimum of a Bachelor s degree (Business, Computer Science); A Master s degree is preferred
