Contract Developer

Ideal candidate should have a proven track record in the complete life cycle of large enterprise software products, preferably infrastructure development using Client/Server technology and/or in the data mining/warehousing environments. The candidate should have experience in designing, implementing, shipping and supporting (troubleshooting and solving complex customer reported issues) reliable and scalable products that involve multiple Operating Systems, databases, and multi-process/threaded architectures.

Qualifications/Skillset Required:
? Minimum 5 years of software design and development experience.
? Excellent C/C++ programming skills. Software product development experience using C or C++ on Windows, Unix and Linux environments is a must.
? Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (preferably with C++) and design methodology is strongly preferred.
? Must have development experience in Unix, Windows and Linux based multi-process/multi-threaded client-server applications is required.
? Good Understanding of communications protocols (RPC, TCP/IP, UDP, serial links) is desirable
? Experience in server-side technologies, database integration issues, and content management systems is desired.
? Experience with applications using commercial RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, and Sybase) databases in a highly transactional environment is desired.
? Excellent written and oral communication.
