Contract Network Analyst-NOC Engineer

    SUMMARY Assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the network systems. Provides Level 2 support for IT department and various Business Partners. Assists in general IT support functions, IT Help Desk, software and network support.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintains Network Operations Center line as directed
Adheres to IT policies and procedures dictated by company and management
Works within guidelines, technological strategic goals, and other IT policies and procedures
Adheres to network guidelines and strategic framework
Remains abreast of emerging technical issues affecting the company infrastructure
Maintains technical competency in the day to day activities of company
Assists in the documentation of network, software, disaster recovery, and systems configurations
Assist in all functions of networking and user support
Adheres to Bug and Enhancement reporting policies and procedures
Responsible for any other duties as assigned by management


QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE - TRAINING

High school diploma or equivalent
Microsoft MCP or equivalent experience
Thorough knowledge of Windows 2000 operating system
Experienced with HP OpenView and CiscoWorks
Able to handle pressure situations
Very good organizational and problem solving skills
Customer service oriented
Able to interface effectively and decisively with other units, departments and outside agencies
Goal oriented
