Crystal Report Developer

Key Role: Maintain responsibility for compiling design input from various departments, estimating the work effort related to each project, and the development, testing, and rollout of reports and reporting services. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop reports to satisfy the specifications. Work closely with company staff and management to ensure that completed reports match final business requirements. Use Crystal Reports Professional 10 or 11, FRx Report Writer, Business Objects Enterprise, or Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 to generate business-critical reports published for various stakeholders in the business. Maintain responsibility for report creation and distribution and provide analytic support for the company’s IT team as it establishes portal security and content control policies. Apply excellent business analysis and oral and written communication skills.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:

-3+ years of experience with Crystal Reports or comparable software design work

-Experience with Crystal Reports 10 or 11, Microsoft Great Plains Reporting, FRx Report Writer, Microsoft Reporting Services, or a similar reporting tool required

-Experience with Business Objects Enterprise required

-Knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2000/2005 required

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail and exhibit a high degree of accuracy required

-Experience with stored procedures, ADO.NET, HTML/XML, ASP.NET, and VB.NET a plus

-Possession of excellent report presentation and development skills required

-Possession of excellent project management skills a plus


Education/Certifications or equivalent required:

AA or AS degree in CS, Information Systems, or a related field required

Crystal Reports Certified Professional, MCP SQL Server Certification, and ITC2 Experience Certified Technical Communication Professional preferred
