Custom Analyst-Account Implementation

Assignment Summary:

The Account Installation - Custom Analyst's key responsibility is to conduct detailed plan analysis for the ASO/Custom teams during the CAS Migrations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Gaining high level of understanding of Humana's standard products and use that knowledge to act as a consultant for sales in the migration process

Gaining high level understanding of the MTV and CAS build processes as well as system capabilities for various benefit configurations

Mapping all migrating groups to existing products in MTV

Acting as primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Account Installation (ASO/Custom) in the Migration Process

Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of custom products and related Summary Plan Descriptions and Custom Certificates

Identifying benefits that have potential implications to other departments

Participating in regular capacity planning discussions with product build and product database teams to appropriately respond to inquiries.

Participating with a cross functional team to determine the product parameters and implementation requirements for all migrating groups

Identifying and communicate on-going enhancements to the process to allow for improved efficiency with internal partners.

Working on other Corporate initiatives as required

Understanding of the Account Installation life cycle, from pre-migration activities (discovery) through sales consultation and final sale/migration

Emotional Intelligence: Manages self and relationships effectively, through self-awareness, self- management, awareness of others and skill in dealing with others.

Possessing strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and maintain composure during high volume periods.

Additional Requirements:
(Education Level, Certifications, Licenses)
Software skills: Excel, Access, Microsoft Project Manager, PowerPoint, Word and Visio
Bachelors Degree preferred but not required - will substitute career experience if applicable
Work toward Project Management certification a plus
3-5 years experience within the health insurance industry a plus
