Customer Support Analyst

Immediate position available for a Customer Support Analyst at a progressive marketing communications company.  This person will play a lead role in the Customer Support organization, providing support to internal customers (Sales, Customer Service, Management?) and external customers.  The individual will primarily be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting and resolving software application problems, working closely with Quality Assurance and the Development team as required.  Other opportunities exist (depending on the candidate's skill set) to work on quality assurance and business analyst tasks.  This position requires close interaction with the development staff, account support (Sales/CSR/warehouse division), clients and management.  Strong communication skills are a must. 

 

The ideal candidate will have SQL experience (selecting, analyzing, inserting, updating, and deleting data).  This person will frequently pull information together from multiple tables to create ad-hoc reports.  A basic understanding of Microsoft development tools is helpful.

 

This person must possess strong customer service skills to complement their expertise in software technical support. This person must enjoy understanding client problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

 

Required

1-3 years experience in a technical support position with strong customer service skills.  Proven experience in leadership, communication, problem solving and implementing measures, metrics and process improvements a plus.Bonus

Experience in quality assurance, documentation, training and Agile Development Methodologies a plus.  Knowledge of ASP, SQL Server, Visual Basic, C#, COM+, XML, VB.Net, knowledge of W3C standards, and Object Oriented Design.
