If so, DHL IT Services has a key role in our Professional Services team as a Director, Application Development and Implementation Consulting Services.

The members of our IT Services team manage and enhance the IT tools and technologies of four main Deutsche Post business segments comprised of Mail, Express, Logistics, and Financial Services. Our networks are a key factor for helping our customers experience success. A strong worldwide IT infrastructure helps us offer top quality customer tools, which measurably impacts our customer's satisfaction with our overall products and services.

We aspire to provide best-in-class application development and implementation services for a variety of customers within our key business segments, coordinated via the four IT Service Centers in Scottsdale, AZ; Prague, Czech Republic; Cyberjaya, Malaysia, and Bonn, Germany. The incumbent will manage a team of professionals and managers whose goal is to provide market-competitive services. The candidate selected will manage his/her own P&L of approximately ?8M. This role also provides the opportunity to grow and develop leaders and senior-level professionals via increasingly challenging application development and project management experiences. Some international travel is required.

The ideal candidate will have extensive depth and breadth of expertise in either implementation services or application development. This person will also need an above average sense of business acumen. We're looking for individuals who are comfortable working with highly-advanced technologies, principles, theories, and concepts and can use them successfully in solving business challenges. This individual will need to demonstrate exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness and be comfortable being measured in relation to quality, cost, and service levels. Equally as important is having exemplary relationship skills in a diverse global customer and IT work environment. We would prefer a BS/BA in related discipline and 10+ years experience in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Also prefer candidates who have previous experience in commercial consulting organizations.
