Cyber Crime Network Engineer

Key Role: Implement and maintain lawful data intercept and cyber crime programs. Monitor a wide range of network equipment and be versed in network topology mapping and monitoring software. Apply excellent customer support skills and the ability to work under pressure in complex, driven environments. This position will require travel for 2-6 days each month.



Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with advanced telecommunications, including core routing, switching, network security, IP Telephony, and optical networks

-Ability to be a team player, mission oriented, and requires little direction in accomplishing unit goals

-Knowledge of network management and monitoring tools, including Cisco Works, HP OpenView, Dell OpenManage, or Sniffer

-Experience with designing and implementing converged Gigabit Ethernet, VoIP, and Wireless-based networks using the latest technologies

-Ability to troubleshoot network architectures using OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, and static routing protocols

-Experience with configuring routers, switches, firewalls, IPS, and other network equipment

-BA or BS degree required

 

Additional Qualifications:

-Current Cisco CCNP Certification, Cisco CCISP, and Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, and JNCIE a plus

-Ability to provide detailed schematics for network architecture and ensure all projects meet current network architectural standards

-Experience with hardware and software selection and procurement to meet customer needs, including present and future capacity requirements

-Knowledge on a broad range of network monitoring, office automation, and technical drawing software suites

-Knowledge of multiple server and workstation OS a plus

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
