Title: Data Warehouse Manager



Directs multiple teams of business consultants involved in the evaluation of business requirements or may direct a broad range of functions in support of policy/process improvement activities in a matrix environment. Defines and consults on measurement strategies, tools, scorecards and surveys across organization. Provides services benchmarking and industry comparative analysis support. Provides measurement and cost savings support (development, reporting, validation and improvement) for service management. Ensures projects are completed within committed time and budget and are integrated with other business and related projects. Generates business consulting policies, standards and procedures. Actions have significant impact on key business objectives.

Directs, manages, plans and administers the operational and administrative activities associated with the running of the Data Analysis Section. May direct the Data Administration staff in the analysis and design of data models and logical data bases at the data element level consistent with the corporate architectural models. Responsible for the development of logical data base designs across multiple computing environments (e.g., host based, client server, distributed systems). Consults with data base administration and client areas in the transformation of business requirements into relational data base definitions and for resolving questions during the translation to a physical data base design. Responsible for the establishment of data element naming and description standards and conventions. Ensures that data dictionaries are maintained across multiple systems environments including Web and e-commerce. Provides comprehensive consulting to client and IT management and staff in the identification and resolution of information flow and content issues. Manages multiple projects, professional and technical staff, and other related activities.
