Job Description ? Delphi Software Developer, Contractor
Maintain Newsgator?s premiere Delphi applications, TopStyle and FeedDemon. The initial project will focus on the development of the next major release of TopStyle, the world class HTML and CSS editor. A future project will be to assume the maintenance of FeedDemon, the most popular Windows RSS reader. The candidate should expect software coding to be the primary function of this position, working under guidance from the creator of both products.
QualificationsBS/MS Computer Science or related discipline Strong software engineering and problem solving skills
? 5+ years experience building commercial Windows desktop applications with Delphi 4 (or later)
? 2+ years of commercial experience using HTML and CSS
? Strong UI design skillsDemonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical designsDemonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlines Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direct management
