DP Email PKI Engineer

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: The Enterprise Services department is part of the Citigroup Technology Infrastructure Global Engineering division. The team has engineering responsibilities for the identity and entitlement management infrastructures across Citigroup, which includes directory services.

 These positions are part of an engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining various security authentication products (PKI, tokens, identity management). These persons will be responsible for the development work of external secure email for none-CTI entities

Day-to-day responsibilities include: collect business requirements, write functional requirements, evaluate products, configure product, follow, develop and write compliance documentation, design architecture, run proofs of concept, and manage product hand over to implementation team.

 

The engineer will also provide third-level support to implementation and operations teams. Besides new product development, the person is responsible for upgrade and new functionality development work. The position requires interfacing with other engineers and with businesses to understand their requirements and with vendors.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

-  5+ years developing network encryption applications

-  5+ years of professional PKI application integration experience

-  Working knowledge of TLS/SSL handshaking, x509 certificate and digital signatures

-  Thorough understanding of TCP/IP and higher-level network protocols

-  Experience developing multi-threaded server applications for UNIX platforms

-  Experience as Lead Engineer or Architect

-  Experience with Entrust PKI and PKI and Web based Secure Email is desirable



NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Good verbal and written communication skills.
