Data Analyst (20 hours per week) - Ability to understand database schemas/build SQL database queries

The candidate will create database queries and analyze the resulting data to identify missing or incomplete data, identify data errors, and correlate and categorize data, as required. The candidate will provide recommendations for changes to the database and/or hard copy files. The candidate will ensure that changes to the database are applied to corresponding hard copy files. Candidates should be able to process database queries and run database programs to update the database.

This position is planned to be part time ? 20 hours per week. The term of the assignment is estimated at six months, but could extend further.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate?s background and experience should include:
BS/BA degree Information Sciences or related field with 3 - 5 years experience.
Ability to understand database schemas and build SQL database queries
Strong organization and interpersonal skills
US Citizenship or Green Card

Business Casual Dress
Experience with creating Microsoft Excel macros to analyze data and the ability to run database programs and data loaders desired. Must be clearable for a position of public trust. Relocation funds not available, local candidates only
