Job Description

The Information Systems Division of the Nemours Children's Clinic in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a Data Analyst to perform billing analysis and manage items in the configuration management database (CMDB) for the Information Systems Division.  The analyst will: populate the configuration management database; perform configuration and billing audits to verify physical inventory matches the CMDB and charges are paid appropriately and in a timely manner; maintain current status information on configuration items (CIs); maintain current cost detail for monthly comparison and reconciliation of contracts and maintenance agreements; control receipt, identification, storage and withdrawal of all supported CIs, proactive identification and elimination of unused assets to manage costs; provide management reports, impact analysis, and configuration status reports; work closely with change management to assess impact of proposed changes, and participate in weekly change control meetings. Additionally, this position is responsible for: numbering, recording, storing and distributing configuration management issues; tracking exceptions and providing feedback to management; making regular use of historical information in CMDB to enable effective troubleshooting and timely address of service requests through knowledge management and Service Desk; supporting strategic planning and service improvement initiatives for the business; and, other duties as assigned.

 

This position requires a minimum of two years? experience in a customer technical support environment with HelpDesk experience a plus, and experience in a medical environment desirable. Candidates must have practical and analytical experience in supervision of asset, inventory, or configuration of computer, network and/or telecom equipment. Must possess a high school diploma (Bachelors Degree preferred) and ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.
