Job Requirements:
XYZ seeks experienced facilities or industrial engineers, ME with PE licensing desired. The candidate should possess at least 5 years experience with:
ME candidates: HVAC design and evaluation, building controls and automation, airflow balance and analysis, cooling tower design, load calculations, chillers, structural loading, reliability analysis, boilers, gas turbines, pumps, and associated equipment/systems.

Requires demonstrable comprehensive knowledge of mechanical codes and industry standard requirements. The candidate must possess strong written and oral communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to prioritize workload efficiently, and a good team orientation.
Travel will be required, approximately 25-50%. Positions based in Mountain View, CA.
Requirements:
- Ten or more years experience as outline above, preferably in a data center environment.
- A BS in mechanical engineering. MS and/or PE desired.
- Demonstrable computing skills that show complex data trending/tracking and analysis.

Job Description:
Position Title: :Data Center Facilities Engineer - Mechanical
JOB DESCRIPTION: Possibility of conversion (temp to hire)
The Mechanical Engineer provides policy, guidance, and recommendations in the areas of mechanical equipment operation and maintenance for XYZ owned and operated data centers. Working under the direction of the DCFacOps Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Engineer will perform on-site evaluations, develop procedures, and maintain various tracking and trending data bases. Additional duties will include working with the local authorities having jurisdiction to come to agreement, providing training for DCFacOps personnel, and maintaining the engineering reference library.
Specific experience should include HVAC design and evaluation, building controls and automation, airflow balance and analysis, cooling tower design, load calculations, chillers, structural loading, reliability analysis, boilers, pumps, and associated equipment and systems. Candidate should be able to show demonstrable comprehensive knowledge of mechanical codes and industry standard requirements.
Travel, domestic and international, will be required, approximately 25-50%. Position based in Mountain View, CA.
