Conversion Data Project Coordinator

 

 

Tasks: 
 Is responsible for all communications with customers and/or resellers after the conversion sales cycle. This person represents the organization to our customers & resellers.
Receive data, count, log and label data and notify customer of volume of data received.
Work with customer to define data output requirements, resolve problems with data (missing, corrupt, incomplete, etc.), and validate information during all stages of job process.
Communicate with developers/department manager to assess progress of conversion jobs passed to development and Outsource Services for processing. 
Maintain records in TRAC pertaining to daily communications, problems and actions with customers and in-house interdepartmental communications.  Keep information current on all conversion jobs? status in TRAC.
Collaborate with others in organization to ensure successful implementation of chosen problem solutions with approval of department manager.
Analyze information (customer & procedural) in order to conceptualize and define operational problem.  Offer alternative courses of action to management team to determine which plan will offer best outcome.
Follow-up with the customer/reseller on data retention timelines per contract.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
General knowledge of document management software/ software/computer logic as a whole. 
General knowledge of various programming languages helpful, but not required.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services and customer needs assessment.
Must be able to identify problems & review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.  Use analytical skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple changing tasks and have strong administrative skills.
Be able to actively listen and give full attention to what is being said (both by customer & departments), understand the points being made and understanding the implications to each department.
Should have good negotiation skills to bring both sides of problem issues together and help reconcile perceived differences. 
Must have very proficient verbal and written communication skills with focus on detail, content and delivery.
Must be able to communicate with highly technical individuals as well as non-technical individuals and bridge the communication gap between the two categories.
Degree in CIS or related field highly preferred and/or work related experience.
