We are looking for a Data QA Engineer.



 

Title:  Data QA Engineer

Location: Emeryville, CA (HQ)

 

Summary of Responsibilities:  The Data QA Engineer performs testing tasks for ongoing data production and releases of new backend data systems.  This includes daily monitoring of current production, troubleshooting and reporting problems, and performing QA of new releases. 

 

Specific data testing responsibilities include:Monitoring data systems for consistent, uninterrupted production. Conducting daily data testing and integrity checks. Knowing how to access data from each data source. Investigating specific customer service/helpdesk data problems. Proactively monitoring and detecting data providers process changes.Working independently or as part of a team. Performing other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of Experience in data QA Minimum 2 years of Testing Websites or Web-based Applications Knowledge of Windows 2000, XP SQL Knowledge Knowledge of Linux is a Plus Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate highly technical ideas and concepts to non-technical team members. Detail oriented and highly organized approach to work.

 

Educational Background: Undergraduate computer science degree or equivalent experience.
