Data Security Analyst

Summary of Position Responsibility: Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to protect the data systems and databases from unauthorized users. Identify potential threats and respond to reported security violations. Determine causes of security violations and recommend corrective actions to ensure data security. Research, recommend, and implement changes to procedures and system Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (please list no more than eight): • Plan, organize and manage security, disaster recovery and similar functions related to information systems. Ensure that data systems and databases are protected from unauthorized users. • Produce quarterly reports on the status of the Corporate infrastructure. • Organize the security investigation and implementation of corrective actions. • Plan and manage the selection of off-premise storage facilities and resources needed for recovery operations. • Assist and advise user departments and sites in appropriate security and disaster recovery procedures. • Provide security guidance and response to all incoming requests from various sources within the organization. • Investigate, report and follow-up on security patch deployment. • Recommend new security tools, processes, policies, etc. • Keep current in security-related technologies, trends, issues, and solutions. Non-essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (please list no more than four): • Knowledge & Experience: Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Experience in PKI, Firewalls (Checkpoint & PIS, and other associated authentication devices. Experience in security reporting tools, such as Bindview.
