The successful candidate will have a combination of strong technical and business experience/knowledge, preferably in a health care or health insurance setting. Will consult with business areas and IT to identify business requirements and translate them into system specifications. Will serve as a subject matter expert on major projects, providing timely and accurate analysis, design, testing, and documentation of complex systems tasks. May lead projects, write SQL queries, develop project plans, and coordinate/direct resources. The ability to coordinate with report writers in designing look and feel of reports is desirable.

Key Requirements:
- Master's degree (technical or business) preferred. May accept exceptional skills and relevant experience as a substitute.
- Strong SQL and relational database skills, preferably in an Oracle environment.
- 3+ years business analysis/consultant experience in insurance or health care.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Time and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Visio.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to effectively interact with business users, technical peers, and assigned teams.
- Reliable, accountable, and self-motivated.
- Medical coding a plus.
