Data Warehouse Developer-- Telecommute

This position is elgible for part time telecommuting.  Ideal candidate will live within driving distance of Clewiston

 

 

Primary Function

Perform as a Team Lead for full Data Warehouse life-cycle systems development. Assist the PMO in establishing project plans, work breakdown structure (WBS), milestones, deliverables etc. Work with clients to understand requirements and translate to appropriate technical solution. Assign and coordinate tasks among technical personnel.

Responsibilities:

? Architect Data Warehouses/Marts by providing technical infrastructure designs, data mappings/flows,
and report dissemination mechanisms.
? Manage unit, system and integration testing for accuracy, performance and the fit with business
requirements.
? Develop and generate standard and ad hoc reporting capabilities from new and existing data sources
in a Data Warehouse environment.
? Create effective, accurate and easy to use Business Objects universes as a foundation for reporting
applications.
? Perform quality assurance testing on data warehouse systems and processes.
? Develop and refine Data Warehousing methodologies for the team to follow.
? Ensure that Data Warehouse end-users are adequately trained and supported in the use of Data Warehouse applications.

 Experience:
 ? Minimum 2-3 years programming experience with Progress v9 GUI.
? Strong knowledge of the Progress database
? Proven ability to manage multiple assignments.
? Experience with ERP software in a manufacturing environment as well as familiarity with QAD MFG-Pro.
? Superior verbal and written communications as well as excellent interpersonal skills are required.
