Data Warehouse Technical Director

Kinetix Technology is in search of a Business Savvy Technical Director to work in an exciting company with some of the industry's brightest individuals.

This company is based out of Charlotte, NC, but this position may be based out of Charlotte, NC, Boston, MA, San Francisco, CA, NY, NY, or Seattle, WA since there is extensive travel involved. This individual will be offered a salary plus incentive and also a travel bonus as well as an excellent benefit package.

 

In the role of Data Warehouse Technical Director, you will apply your knowledge and experience of complex,

comprehensive, customer-centric data warehousing/data mart environment principles to architect, build and implement best practice solutions. You must be comfortable with working at client sites in tightly-knit expert teams, providing advice on and actually building these environments, including extraction/transformation/load (ETL) software, reporting/business intelligence (BI) software, marketing automation software (offline, online and email), and data mining software. In addition, you must be comfortable identifying the organizational, skill set and process ramifications of these environments, providing counsel to clients on their evolution to the state-of-the-art enterprise.

Experience with and in-depth knowledge of at least two database environments, two ETL tools and two BI software product suites, together with knowledge of marketing automation and data mining tools is preferred. Experience in providing hands-on technical leadership of a data warehousing or data mart development project is also required.

More specifically, we are looking for professionals with:

?  At least 8 years experience developing complex, comprehensive, customer-centric data warehousing/data mart environments.

?  At least five years of hands-on experience as a data warehouse designer and developer Proficiency in developing in a Unix environment.

?  In-depth experience developing ETL software using a leading product suite.

?  Familiarity with business intelligence, marketing automation and data mining tools.

?  At least 2 years experience as a project manager and technical team leader for the implementation of a complex, comprehensive, customer-centric data warehousing/data mart environment.

An understanding of data integration issues associated with real-time data exchanges and environments is also preferred.

Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree beneficial).
