1) Position: Data warehouse Architect

?

Specific Financial Systems Skills

*Functional Understanding - understanding of all or a significant proportion of the following subject areas - Billing/Invoicing, Fiduciary Accounting, Budgeting, T&E, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Time Recording, Cash Management, Accounts Payables, Receivables and Collections, Revenue Forecasting, Data Warehouse and Reporting.
*Large Systems Implementation - project implementation experience, either as a lead or senior participant, on large financial systems in a multi national firm

General Application Architecture

*Business Analysis - synthesizing information gained from Client's IT relationship management team on business strategy, objectives, priorities and operating models
*Business Modeling - understanding of organizational design and different operating models
*Architecture Modeling - Building, maintaining, owning and enforcing an overall enterprise wide application architecture that reduces the number of different applications in use and reduces cost of ownership by identifying common needs and services. Detailed modeling of application architecture components using UML; working closely with the technical architecture team in delivering an overall integration architecture
*Systems Planning - Experience in information system planning / IS strategy / application selection work e.g. defining enterprise wide application architectures for complex, multi-site, multi product organizations

General Information Architecture

*Business Analysis - synthesizing core information needs from business processes and requirements
*Data Modeling - experience with logical data modeling and detailed modeling of inter-application data flows to element level
*Use of XML Vocabularies/Standards - exposure to using XML messaging standards such as ACORD
*Reference Data - experience with the use of centralized reference data sources
*Data Distribution and Reporting - experience in developing an overall data distribution, replication and reporting architecture, including reporting and data analysis tools for large multi national organizations. Understanding or reporting and data analysis tools, ideally Business Objects

General Technical Architecture

*Design detailed technical architectures in a complex environment
*Identify technical components, products and frameworks required to develop applications in a complex, shared environment

Qualifications

Role Requirements
High impact role. Ideal candidates will have a mix of end-user and consulting experience in Insurance. Role requires significant multi-tasking, a broad business perspective and conceptual thinking to solve ambiguous problems. Applies substantial depth of knowledge/experience to drive through change.

Experience

*College degree
*10+ years industry experience
*5+ years financial systems experience

2) Position : VP- Data warehouse

?

Responsibilities:

-Manage day-to-day operations of Global Reporting Portal, coordinate with application stake holders that use the portal to integrate new reports to the portal, enforce standards for reports/BO universe and data security across reporting applications that use the portal.
- Coordinate with support personnel for timely resolution of issues, Manage releases, work with report and portal development teams

Education:Bachelors in science/engineering.

Required Skills:

- Minimum 10 years of IT experience.
-Extensive experience with full lifestyle of reporting/business intelligence projects with strong focus on execution and delivery.
- Experience with one or more reporting tools -Business Objects/Crystal/Actuate/Essbase
- Experience managing teams, Data architecture experience is a plus
