Database-Administrative Support

Job Description:


PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:  Manage local database information by building new databases as needed, provide analysis and reporting of data to management as needed to identify trend analysis. Support Factory Manager and staff in a variety of administrative activities.

 

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

 Review, evaluate, design, implement and maintain databases at local facility.  Includes identifying necessary data sources, compiling and producing requested reports for management.Analyze collected data to identify trends to assist Plant Manager and production management in daily operations.  Analysis could include inventory trends, reporting of worked hours, labor efficiencies, production efficiencies, etc.Assist the factory manager and staff members with administrative support such as organization of documents, creation of organizational systems, staff activity planning, and general office administration.Provide administrative/technical support to the Engineering group by assisting in the maintenance and creation of manufacturing records.Provide first level technical support to network users at the local facility.  Could include assistance on hardware or software issues.

    Coordinate with necessary parties any changes made to engineering records.Support local Senior Buyer by being knowledgeable about the purchasing process and procedures to provide purchasing back-up as needed. Understanding of invoice processing and reconciliation to provide backup to facility staff as needed.Prepare presentations as needed.Poses no direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself, of others, or to property.Requires regular attendance to perform essential elements as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.Performs such individual assignments as management may direcEstablishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.

Job Requirements:


·  College degree preferred, will consider work experience equivalence.

 

·  Must have a strong computer aptitude with a broad knowledge of Microsoft applications including Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

 

·  Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

 

·  Must be detail oriented and have strong analytical skills.

 

·  Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to multi task with a high volume workload and be able to meet deadlines.
