Database Administrator Oracle SQL

Suntron Corporation, an industry leader in electronic manufacturing services, delivering complete manufacturing services and solutions to support the entire life cycle of complex products in the semi-conductor capital equipment, aerospace and defense, medical and industrial markets is currently seeking an SQL Server Data Base Administrator/SQL Server Developer to support and administer in house SQL Server applications, Visual Basic applications, and associated databases. This position provides technical and system administration support within the IT department on behalf of Oracle Functional Business Systems Analysts and Developers. This position is responsible for managing projects as well as the evaluation, selection, development and/or implementation of new business solutions, applications, and customizations.


We seek an individual with 3+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server database versions 6.x, 7.x, and 2000.  In addition, individuals must have good working knowledge of ASP, VBScript, MSSQL, TSQL, Visual Studio 6.0, Microsoft Visual Basic and Visual Studio.NET development tools, and basic systems/network administration as well as Microsoft operating environments.

 

This person will have a B.S. in Computer Science or Information Systems, and/or an equivalent combination of Microsoft certifications and years of related experience.  Individuals must have demonstrated experience in: maintaining multiple databases on SQL Server environments; troubleshooting all components of the SQL Server Applications technology stack; performing day-to-day database administration activities ensuring integrity, security and availability of applications environment; tuning databases for optimal performance; developing and promoting standard operating and change control procedures; patching environments; and developing scripts to automate functions, processes, and monitor database usage; data modeling; writing/maintaining complex SQL packages and stored procedures.
