Database Administrator/Programmer
RGII Technologies is seeking to hire a Database Administrator/Programmer for our office in Falls Church, VA. We need an individual with advanced programming & enterprise level application software development experience in a DoD medical environment. This encompasses full life-cycle application development and requires experience in several computer languages, as well as, rapid application development tools. The individual will be tasked to design, develop and deploy database applications, database-driven web sites and numerous ad-hoc software applications in either standalone, networked, or web based environments. Will perform technical analysis, extensive research and report generation to include technical studies and analysis in the form of concepts, white papers and presentations.
Applicant (s) selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified and/or sensitive information or systems.
Experience/Skills required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with min of 8 years exp in enterprise level application development, and 6 mos in a DoD medical environment. Knowledge of Section 508 of Public Law 102-569. Languages: C++, HTML, DHTML, XML, ASP, PHP, Java, JavaScript and Shell, Java and Perl scripts, Visual Basic, .net framework, Databases: Microsoft Access, Oracle DBMS, MsSQL, MySQL and Visual Basic for Applications. Visual development tools: Dream Weaver, Cold Fusion, Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash, Oracle Forms and Reports, Visual Studio.Net 2003
