Database Analyst

The incumbent serves as the system administrator for Sci Opss Siebel based customer management system, custom WEB-based reporting tool, Integrated Work Space content management system (Plumtree) and various other departmental resources. They will interface continually with Information Technology as well as with all field personnel to ensure continuous accuracy of data; that appropriate accounts are set up and maintained; and that each system is operating optimally. The incumbent will also serve as a resource for the department on all departmental applications and field IT related questions, working closely with IT support for resolution.

Position Requirements: Enters data into databases (i.e., names, addresses, etc.). Conducts queries. Analyzes data. Creates/designs reports or forms (i.e., mailing lists, customer records, etc.). Modifies databases. Possesses strong knowledge of database software (i.e., Microsoft Access) and possibly other software (i.e., word processing, presentation graphics, etc.). Has strong project management, communication and organization skills.
