Database Analyst / SQL/ Prime Brokerage / NYC
A leading Investment Bank is looking to hire a talented IT professional with a combination of business and database skills.
Prime Brokerage knowledge (or at least some financial services, Accounting is a plus))
AND Database knowledge (SQL, stored procedures, some modeling, optimization,)
This area creates P & L reports for their Prime Brokerage clients
Need to query the database to pull information to create these reports
Any exposure to .NET is a plus?they code in C# in the group.

looking for a senior database/ data analyst
to join business focused Prime Brokerage Technology team.
The job requires good understanding of prime brokerage business and database programming.
Senior data analysts with a minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in understanding financial reports, market data and prime brokerage services. Additionally, job requires deep understanding of various database technologies to optimize SQL queries, database design etc.
Required Technical Skills: MS SQL 2000/2005, Data modeling and data analysis
Desirable Technical Skills: .NET Framework 1.1/2.0, C#, XML, XSLT, Web Service, Remoting, MS OLAP (Analysis Services)
Personal Traits:
Able to work well with a small, focused, talented team
Proactive and eager problem solver
Pragmatic and delivery-oriented
Experience communicating with Front Office personnel
