DATABASE DEVELOPER

Responsible for the design, development and implementation of innovative database and/or backend solutions for assigned area of responsibility in accordance to departmental and Company guidelines and within established timeframes; analyze customer requirements and facilitate the successful completion of customer requests, testing solutions to ensure security, integrity, and usability of data; coordinate with other internal departments to ensure customer requests integrate and deploy as scheduled; ensure the quick implementation of mass data change requests and complex report/data extraction requests making sure the impact on existing applications is adequately analyzed and evaluated; design and develop test code for data conversions; resolve application support tickets escalated to employee?s level ensuring appropriate resolution of issues in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum two years experience developing and maintaining databases
Understanding of conferencing infrastructure
Based on area of responsibility one or more of the following may be required:
Database administration in Oracle (v9i or 10g)
Database installation, configuration, connectivity, monitoring and fine tuning
Database user management and security
Relational database modeling for OLTP
SQL stored procedures and triggers PL/SQL
Knowledge of software development life cycle
Java programming experience
XML experience
