Database Developer / Administrator

This position is responsible for the design, development and implementation of all aspects of data warehouse development and administration including but not limited to data sourcing, migration, ETL, quality and design.

Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of database development and administration. Position requires ability to utilize Transact SQL to create new and maintain existing ETL processes (data warehouse load) and DTS Packages (nightly jobs). Knowledge of the IBM iSeries environment and DB2 is a plus. Experience with Oracle EnterpriseOne & Microstrategy Business Intelligence software is a plus. Thorough understanding of SQL server 2000, stored procedures, triggers, indexes and tools for SQL server. Ability to leverage Microsoft SQL server, DTS and MicroStrategy as tools for data warehouse / Business Intelligence application development. Ability to configure, monitor and alert for SQL environment as well as fix any hardware and application issues. Ability to provide production support and ongoing enhancements to the data warehouse. System troubleshooting, documentation, project management and end user support. Experience working with other data warehousing tools like Business Objects, Cognos & other multidimensional reporting tools will also be considered.
