Database Reporting Analyst

One of Hudson's premier clients in St. Louis has an immediate need for a Database Reports Analyst.  This is a direct permanent position with the client.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for analysis and reporting of customer information, profitability and risk dynamics of the credit card portfolio.  Furthermore, this person will also work with internal clients (business groups) develop reporting by translating data into presentable and easily understood reports for our internal clients.  This requires an understanding of marketing and customer data, relational database models, and experience in SQL queries and Oracle databases.  This position requires a technical person with a thorough understanding of marketing and customer profiling.

 

Specifically, this person will:? Work with internal clients to understand their marketing information needs and support their marketing programs through providing reporting of customer data.? Provide data mining and analytic support to internal clients (business groups) and fulfill ad hoc data requests

 

Experience: ? 1 year of experience in data mining, such as targeting, segmentation and customer profiling, etc., is required.

 

Knowledge and Skills: ? Must have good project management skills. ? The candidate will be asked to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.  Therefore multitasking and ability to prioritize are important.? Understanding of relational databases is required. ? Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail? Excellent oral/written communication skills. ? 1+ years of SQL and Oracle experience preferred. ? Ability to work in teams.

 

Education:

College degree preferred.
