Deployment Lead

Accountable for planning, establishing and maintaining production support procedures and processes for multi-platform, integrated systems including Mainframe, Unix/Linux and Windows. Manages the daily activities of an operations support unit that is responsible for production deployment and quality assurance. Position responsibilities will include: to troubleshoot and debug complex operational processes that impact normal procedures; set and direct the operational documentation and scheduling requirements; audit, diagnose, and recommend changes to improve processing and procedures; set standards and procedures for testing applications and new versions. Develop procedures, troubleshooting guides, and documentation materials to build a knowledge base for the technical support staff. Manage the impact of new applications on in-place processing and resources. Responsible for the overall improvement of procedures and processes. Lead and direct the work of others under general supervision of manager.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

Bachelor?s degree or equivalent plus 6 or more years experience in enterprise operations and procedural work. Must be familiar with a variety of industry standards for quality assurance concepts and operational practices and procedures. Must be familiar with Mainframe, UNIX/Linux, and Windows.  Experience in identifying and implementing enterprise system tools, quality assurance standards and procedures for scheduling and testing applications, is needed. Must have working knowledge of job schedulers, JCL, MVS, and VM.  Ability to multi-task many requests in an organized and timely manner. Must have experience leading and directing the work of others. Proven analytical skills and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
