Desktop Support and Deployment Technician

We currently have an opening for a highly motivated individual to become part of the EpicCare Ambulatory Application deployment team. The focus of this position will be the imaging, configuration and deployment of desktop PC, scanning and printing equipment in support of site deployment projects. Successful candidates will need to work independently, efficiently and with a professional demeanor in a dynamic team environment.

 

We seek candidates with a minimum of 2 years experience with:

o Windows operating systems (Windows 2000 & Windows XP)

o PC imaging software.

o User profile migration

o MS Office support and configuration

o Terminal emulation software

o Basic networking (PING, IPCONFIG)

o Batch files and scripting

o HP printer configuration

o Telephone/remote support

 

The successful candidate will have a willingness to pack and unpack computer equipment, possess reliable transportation for travel within the tri-state area.  Experience in the healthcare environment is helpful.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

? Assistance with deployment site analysis

? Unpacking and staging of equipment for deployment

? PC imaging and configuration of replacement and new devices

? Hardware and software troubleshooting as needed.

? Misc. data entry and PC related tasks
