Developer/Analyst (SQL, VBscript, VB.NET, Crystal Reports)

Our client located in San Diego is currently seeking a Analyst with the following experience: Configuration Management, SQL, VBscript, VB.NET and Crystal Reports.

Position Description:  Configuration Analyst position is responsible for configuration of ACE actions and other items in the Mortgage Cadence Loan Origination System. ACE is a proprietary rules writing tool with comes with the Mortgage Cadence Application. Training will be provided in use of the tool and other configuration within Mortgage Cadence. Responsibilities:

? Configure and implement ACE actions (small pieces of code) to perform actions in Mortgage Cadence Environment.
? Configure and implement other functionality in application such as disbursements.
? Work with users to complete analysis of new requested functionality.
? Unit test configured items.
? Work with QA and System Manager to diagnose and troubleshoot bugs.
? Work with BA?s and PM?s to complete design and implementation of configuration components of new requirements and projects.
? Work with Mortgage Cadence help desk to troubleshoot, identify and resolve core application errors.
? Work with users to design and implement new reports and maintain existing reports.
? Complete other Mortgage Cadence configuration such as workflow.
? Provide back up for Administrator by configuring security and adding new users.
? Support other areas and perform other functions when needed.

Qualifications:

? 2-3 years experience in SQL, VBscript, VB.NET.
? Experience with rules engines such as Corticon or iLog is a plus.
? Experience with report writing tools such as Crystal Reports.
? At least 2-3 years experience in the Mortgage industry preferred.
? College Degree or comparable experience / certifications.
? Effective ability to communicate with business users and work in a team.
? Some experience with business and requirements analysis a plus.
? Ability to manage time, shift priorities, deal with multiple requests, and work independently.
