Development Project Manager

We are currently seeking a Development Project Manager to join us in our Montvale office.

Responsibilities:
?Lead the requirements, design, development, implementation and support of software applications to support business initiatives for internal customers
?Work with Department Manager and Technical Project Leaders to define technical services, and develop proposals that include scope of work, cost estimates, and resource plans
?Work directly with business owners to elicit and document business requirements for new projects and enhancements for existing applications
?Provide strong management of development and other technical projects from project inception through implementation
?Provide project oversight and administration including written status reports, issues tracking, change control and status meetings to review outstanding project requests and issues
?Maintain support for existing applications including technology upgrades, maintenance, issue resolution, etc.
?Prepare and maintain various related project technical documentation include requirements, design, installation, and support documentation
?Maintain strong relationships with internal customers/clients
?Coordinate with various parties involved including clients, Technical Project Managers, Information Services (IS) support groups, and third party vendors if applicable

Qualifications:
?Five years of IS experience
?Four years of experience as Project Manager responsible for application development projects
?Experience as primary project leader on successful midsize application development projects from requirements through implementation
?Solid experience with requirements gathering and business process analysis
?Some hands-on experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design using UML, specifically writing Use Cases, and developing Activity Diagrams for business process modeling
?Some hands-on development experience with one or more of the following: Microsoft .NET IDE, C#, ASP.NET, C++, Crystal reporting, SQL Server
?Experience with evaluating and integrating third party products
?Experience with application implementation and support procedures
?Experience or high degree of familiarity with one year of experience of the current software development lifecycle methodologies such as RUP or Agile methodologies (XP, SCRUM, etc.)
?Strong written and verbal communication skills
