Position Requirements:

- CCNA

- 2-5 years of CISCO experience

- 2-5 years Data Communications experience

- Windows Server Administration

- PBX experience

- Firewall

- Knowledge of in-house wiring techniques

- Avaya Telecommunication Products

- Ability to manage timelines and meet tight deadlines

- Detail oriented with excellent communication

- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and lead teams

 

Position Description:

One of the largest and premier US pharmacy benefit management organizations has an immediate need in St. Paul, MN for a Junior Network Engineer who is CCNA certified and has a strong Data Communications background to join their growing and aggressive team.  The preferred candidate will be strong technical resource with the desire and ability to learn and grow within the industry.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing CISCO routers and switches, as well, as building new.  On a day to day basis you will need to perform adds and moves, routing, switching, firewall, VPN administration, Basic Window Server Administration, and create daily reports on all activity status.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Manage routing, switching, firewall and VPN Administration

- Responding and documenting outages and circuits down

- Ability to learn and grow in new technology

- Build VPN dedicated to customer

- Utilize Remedy Tracking System to monitor and report all changes, problems, utilization, alarms and errors
