We are currently seeking a Director - Information Technology

 

Job Summary and Scope:
Director ? IT for Business Intelligence and Data Architecture provides leadership for all areas of data architecture, data design, data quality, data operations and business intelligence / analytical / reporting applications. Responsible for working directly with senior management, key business leadership, IT senior management and other IT teams to:

 

Job Responsibilities: Define business needs for information including standard reporting of financial and operating metrics, advanced analytics, transactional integration of systems etc. Lead the development of the data architecture framework including architecture blueprint, tool selection, standards, policies and proceduresLead IT and business teams to assess current capabilities and develop plans for meeting business needs. Lead teams to develop solutions within the data architecture framework.Ensures compliance with Unisource SDM (systems development methodology) including planning, analysis, design, development and implementation. Monitors status of projects and reviews work for completion and quality.Approves proposed project plans and database designs to ensure projects are aligned with architecture, standards and IT strategy. Allocates appropriate resources to ensure that projects are completed within committed time and budget and are integrated with other database systems.

 

Skills / Experience / Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA)11+ years experienceBachelors Degree or equivalent work experience. Graduate degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Equivalent proficiency level in roles of management (minimum of 2 years of management experience required), project leadership, systems analysis and design, programming, interpreting business applications, and data base management and operations.
