Develop tools to enable efficient operations within the Product Engineering labs.
Plan, propose, implement and manage lab consolidation, build-out and construction as well as space planning. Support NE&TO projects ensuring all facilities and operational needs are proactively managed.
Lead the development of the "Interstate WAN lab" from concept to implementation to effectively tie multiple lab facilities into a single operational entity.
Manage the RNG-200 Visiting Engineer (VE) ATP efforts.
Manage the lab change control process.
Modify the lab environment(s) to meet testing requirements. Come up with process and procedures to allow the test environments to be rapidly configured.
Coordinate test equipment performance assessment and interoperability test matrix
Set up and conduct entry level examination of vendor and intra-lab handoffs to ensure conformance with Vendor requirement documents, including definition of technical requirements, prior to lab entry.
Support organization's quality initiatives through inspections, audits and calibration programs Ensure test labs readiness for all new programs
Lead coordination of test automation initiatives
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
10+ years of increasing responsibility in the testing of services and products in the ISP, telecommunications, and/or cable industries.
The ideal candidate will have worked 2-3 years in a "triple-play" (voice/video/data) environment. Experience should include network, system, application, and product testing.
Experience in shared test resources across geographic boundaries.
5+ years managing medium to large (50+) technology-based organizations.
Experience with procedures, systems, and methods used to track product defects.
Bachelors in engineering. Masters in engineering desired. Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of educational experience.
