Responsible for the project management of Network Engineering services to meet Comcast Cable current and new product requirements. The position proactively leads, directs, facilitates and supports all activities required for project management of network engineering initiatives. The individual needs to be able to work with and communicate well with other engineering and project management groups.
Major Duties:
Oversees project management of all network engineering activities.
Manage team of project managers.
Ensures all Network Engineering project timelines are managed from requirements to implementation.
Disseminates project status information in the form of formal briefings, project coordination meetings, written and graphic reports.
Direct department resource plans development and communication with an emphasis on high-priority initiatives.
Direct project management activities ensuring successful change management, project sponsorship and on-time, on-budget delivery.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong background in Project Management with a focus on IP networks and services.
Demonstrated leadership skills in a team oriented culture.
BS/BA required in Engineering or Computer Science, or related discipline.
5 + years in senior project management roles, preferably in a service provider network environment.
PMP Certification a plus.
