Director for Process Reengineering and Information Systems

Large division of global Consumer Products giant seeks Director for Process Reengineering and Information Systems. This person will oversee the planning, development and implementation of business systems and related business processes/reengineering to support the strategic and tactical objectives of the division's operations. More specifically, responsibilities will also include:

 

--Ensuring that all deployments are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to the business operations.

 

--Providing day-to-leadership of the project teams to ensure high productivity.

 

--Working closely with key leaders throughout the business to identify and implement key business systems that can improve business efficiency and effectiveness, making sure that I/S strategy is aligned with the overall Consumer  Care business strategy.

 

--Maximizing the value of Information Systems & Technology invested dollars through alignment with business objectives, business case development, standards, legal requirements, validation compliance, problem anticipation and problem solving in a strategic context on a divisional scale.

 

--Working with the IS & IM organizations to design and implement optimum customer service processes that cover the entire business.

 

--Developing and leading an effective team of professionals.

 

The effective performance of this job will require the incumbent to possess exemplary skills in management, leadership and strategic thinking, as well as conceptual and technical knowledge of business and applications technologies, business analysis skills, customer service skills and process improvement skills. Strong project management skills are also required. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate strong customer service skills (both internal and external) and define and meet customer satisfaction metrics for the Consumer Care business.

 

This position will interact with senior and line management along with the division's global marketing, sales and manufacturing operations. Consequently, strong influence management and communication skills are also essential.

 

Requirements also include 12+ years overall experience in business information systems, with a minimum of 8 years of related management experience, of which a significant portion must have been in Consumer Products or OTC products. A Bachelor's degree is also required (MBA a +) in a business discipline, computer science, or related.

 

This position will report directly to the Head of Organization and Information for all North American operations, and requires approximately 10% travel. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate. Salary $150-160K + Bonus.
