Director of Enterprise PMO

Job Description:
The Director of the EPMO (Enterprise Program Management Office)leads the team responsible for the delivery of IT and business projects for client. The Director will lead a team of project management professionals to support solution delivery for business and IT projects (i.e., infrastructure, e-Commerce, Finance, HR, Merchandising, Marketing, & Selling). The team size will vary by project portfolio and demands from the business organization, though in total project investment will exceed $50 million. This team will also serve as primary/secondary point of contact for the business as it relates to IT solution delivery. This position reports to Senior Director, IT Strategy & Planning.

Job Experience:
Position Responsibilities
1.Provide leadership and direction to project management professionals assigned to both business and IT projects.
2.Provide oversight to projects in the business and IT program portfolio for Client.
3.Provide day-to-day project management coaching to the team of high level project managers to ensure project delivery success and associate skill growth/refinement.
4.Assist IT and the business in project definition, refinement, and initiation.
5.Deliver quality solutions that meet the triple constraints of time, cost, and scope.
6.Using a flex work force model, secure project management professionals to manage projects supporting both the business and IT areas.
7.Provide Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) with internal status updates, project management process checks, and input to best practices and methodology optimization.

9.Provide leadership to ensure the implementation and support of the EPMO practices and policies within the PM Community.
10.Establish environment where formal project management is essential for success.
11.Responsible for ensuring a balanced environment between project management practices and business solutions delivery.
12.Work with IT Enterprise Architecture and IT Infrastructure on scope of proposed project solutions.
13.Collaborate with IT Enterprise Architecture and IT Infrastructure on the implementation processes to ensure smooth transition of project from development into production operation support.
14.Promote a culture consistent with the desired future state of IT through communication and manner of operating with the Project Management community.
15.Demonstrates a commitment to client core values of safety, integrity, process improvement, and customer satisfaction.
