Director of IT Applications

Work with the VP of Applications to assist with the planning, development, and on-going maintenance of all strategic IT Business Systems needed by the corporation. Work with key business leaders to develop and maintain an on-going definition of the IT Business Systems needed by the corporation (Application Portfolio Management). Oversee and assist with the definition of business requirements (Business Process Mapping, benefit analysis, etc.) and IT solutions, and ensure they remain consistent with the long term corporate Application Portfolio direction.  Direct and oversee the acquisition, development, and/or integration of IT solutions to ensure they are accomplished in a timely and effective manner (Project Planning, Application Development Life Cycle, Operational support requirements, etc.).  Ensure the timely and effective maintenance (new releases, patch management, problem correction, etc.) of existing business systems.  Direct and oversee the IS Enterprise Applications delivery team, and outside consultants as needed to plan, develop, and support strategic IT Business Systems.

Qualifications Requirements Operational business management experience in Finance, IT, or Business Operations highly desired.  Minimum 10 years of IT Applications experience, including at least 8 years in business process and systems development and implementation. Experience and solid working knowledge with Oracle or other ERP applications, as well as CRM applications. Experienced in successfully managing teams of business and technical resources. Experience with project management best practices including software development (SDLC) and standard project management methodologies. Experience in leading cutover and data conversion efforts for large global projects. Extremely strong leadership, people and negotiating skills. Ability to think and communicate conceptually and strategically, and develop workable and effective roadmaps to achieve agreed strategies. Excellent written, verbal presentation and organizational skills, ability to interface with business and information technology. Must work independently in complex fast paced environment to ensure quality and timeliness of system information. Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Finance or Computer Sciences is strongly preferred.
