Bradford and Galt Consulting Services is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

 

PURPOSE:  To positively leverage technology to ensure that our client operates as efficiently and profitably as possible. Identifies and defines projects and evaluates potential strategy that will drive the highest value to both organizations. Ensures that business needs are well understood, that project scopes are properly defined, monitors ongoing development milestones and facilitates strong communication between the business and project teams throughout the development and implementation lifecycle. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Researches new and emerging technologies, determines their impact our client and makes recommendations

?  Develops IS plans and defines requirements in support of specific business objectives.

?  Leads and directs strategy for managing IS deliverables across both companies.

?  Builds relationships with key user groups to identify and resolve business issues.

?  Hands-on technically savvy with a can-do attitude of building complete solutions that meet business needs

?  Manages and tracks the progress of multiple projects. Project management and administration that include work plans, resource planning and control, writing status reports, and preparing annual budgets.

?  Resolves information services problems by analyzing issues, discerning the most appropriate courses of action, providing tactical direction and, when necessary, reallocating resources.

?  Provides operations analysis and consults to internal clients on business process improvement.

?  In coordination with CFO, conducts financial analyses to support strategic planning on system purchases, upgrades and reclamation.

?  Overall stability and security of I.T. infrastructure and networks, core data files and software applications, web access security, 24/7 support, redundancy, anti-virus security and back-up and recovery plan.

?  Monitors and forecasts overall IS requirements for our client.

?  Determination of annual I.T. budget for operating expenses and capital needs, analysis of budget and actual spend levels, control of all I.T. related capital expenditure requests.

?  Selects and supervises external I.T. consultants, programming resources and other vendors.Active member of Steering Committee

?  Manage, support, motivate and develop employees

?  Conduct performance evaluations and ongoing assessment of strengths and weaknesses on direct reports in a professional and timely manner

?  Develop annual department forecast plan for staffing and physical space requirements

?  Researches, recommends, and approves most capital technology purchases

?  Participate in the development and execution of the annual Strategic Plan

?  Communicate the Strategic Plan to department

?  Present at Company Meetings, Publishers Meetings, Sales and Manager Meetings, as needed

?  Participate in the development, communication and monitoring of company policies

?  Handle sensitive information and issues in a confidential manner

?  Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

 Bachelor?s degree Eight to ten years related experienceIndustry Training  (provided by Client)Management and Leadership Training

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 Work performed in an environment with correctable conditions such as lighting and room temperatureModerate noise (office environment)Normally, no exposure to hazards; probability of injury is remoteOccasional overnight travel

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 Occasionally an above average amount of physical effort including lifting or carrying light to moderately heavy material. (15 ? 50lbs)High level of visual effort with continuous exposure to highly detailed work requiring substantial concentration Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with fingers
